Complaints Policy

This policy is intended to ensure that complaints are dealt with properly and that all complaints or comments by service users and their relatives, carers and advocates are taken seriously.


Safeguarding policy

Care with Heart recognises its duty of care to safeguard children and adults. This policy is divided into two halves: the first half covers safeguarding children, and the second half covers safeguarding adults.


Positive Behaviour Support & Reducing Restrictive Interventions

This policy outlines Care with Heart’s strategy for supporting people who present behaviour that challenges.

Our strategy prioritises person-centred support and responsive and reflective practice to reduce incidences of behaviour that challenges


Person-Centred Planning and Decision-Making

This policy describes Care with Heart’s responsibilities for helping  people make decisions about their lives.

This includes compiling support plans. It also includes recording and reporting support provided, and reflecting on and reviewing that support


Missing Persons Policy

This policy provides guidance to staff in the event of a missing persons incident.


Organising Care Policy

This policy explains who can use our service,  what services we offer, care charges, the procedure for booking and cancelling care and why Care with Heart may terminate care services.

It will also outline the procedure for people who are new to the service, and what happens when a person needs to change their care package


Medication Optimisation and Clinical Procedures Policy

This policy describes Care with Heart’s role and responsibilities when supporting people with their medication and clinical procedures.


Inter-Agency Working Policy

This policy outlines Care with Heart’s ethos and processes for inter-agency working


Incident Reporting and Management Policy

This policy and procedure describes the organisation’s approach to the recording, reporting and the management of incidents and is the first step in the process.


Handling Information Policy

The purpose of this policy is to  ensure that personal information about people with whom Care with heart deals is collected only as required and stored safely and securely.

This policy outlines Care with Heart’s work to challenge discrimination and promote awareness for both service users, employees and the public.
